Hey guys! thanks for the welcome! well basically i want this to be a show car one day... My grandad fully restored a jaguar mk8 (one of 6 in aus) and my dad is currently restoring a mk2 austin healey sprite! So yeah short term i want it looking as best it can... got a mk2 style badgeless grill on the way.. a small front lip spoiler soon.. then take to it with a fresh coat of the original colour flipper blue :) one of my best mates dad owns a bodyworks shop... so it will come up AMAZING i'm sure :D
WAS going to go two tone.. be out there and risky.. but that same mate only just resprayed his KE70 after having two tone.. hahaha he said he would not let me do it.. apparently it gets old real fast!!
Want some chrome wheels.. hopefully get some multi spokes (real agressive offset for max poke) when dad orders wheels for the sprite from UK.. timber and chrome roof racks and a slightly elevated exhaust pipe :D
AND may have some coilovers on the cards soon to!
So yeah... real retro (almost kombi style retro!) colour scheme as light blue and chrome... timber here and there.. white vynal and beige swade interior :)
Let me know what you think guys!

Go The MK1's. They are by far arguably the best looking old school Vee Dub around.. Will watch this with keen eyes.
Welcome to the forum Josh! Start a build thread on your MK1. It will be good to see the before and after.
