View Full Version : R36 Passat Roll Call
Lots of Golf pictures but very few Passat R36s. I know we have R36 drivers in this forum and this thread is to bring out all the R36 drivers and their cars and share experiences with each other.
I dont know if this is the place to create this thread but its a good start. I look forward to sharing the love for the Passat R36 to ya'll.

x2 on ADV wheels Jig !!
Thanks Frenchie. I am already going to spend considerable amount of cash on the HGP turbo kit and the ADV wheel is a bit greedy. I already have the 5.1 on my R32 so that should suffice.
AP: Ramspeed have no problems getting the HGP Kit here into Sydney. Thomas is pretty close with the director of HGP so its never going to be an issue. Its me holding him back. I am yet to give him the cash for it and have been procastinating. I have to wait until my car gets close to 2 years before I mod it. That's just my rule...
Roll Call, I bought mine by pure chance, was needing a car for work and didn't want a Ute so this was a great compromise.

Hi r207. Nice mods you got there. How are you finding the 19x8.5" any rubbing at all on your H&R springs? What is the tyre size? Would love to see this car in the flesh as well. Got any pics?

Just being cautious really and making sure that I maximize the warranty period in case there is anything major that needs replacing under warranty will not get scrutinized if I have after market modifications. Putting a turbo kit will interfere and cause hassle if the DSG and other mechanical parts require replacement. Its going to be very hard to argue with VW when they see an extensive modification under the hood. If its non-mod related however(ie. a/c not working) then that is a breeze of course.

yeah the box is nice however once the speakers are installed there is not much use for it....that goes for all of the utopia rings aswell..

Nah mate. Want to listen on how it changes the sound... then make a decision. Its either Arqray or Supersprint.
