Mk V R32 slimline weathershields

Thinking of purchasing the above but didn't know how good they stuck onto the top door frame which seems like a rubbery finish?? so to speak. I assume it would be ok but thought I'd pose the question 1st. Anyone fitted these and if so any probs down the track?

They stick as intended and are supplied with (I assume to be) alcohol based surface wipes and primer adhesive that goes on the rubber section prior to using the double sided tape that is already attached to the weathershield.
I've had mine on for 5 months or so and they're solid - just make sure you follow the instructions re: prep. They can be done single handedly but it's better to have a second person to help support one end as they're being lined up.

mine have been on for 3.5 years now. No probs on the R32 or the Polo (12 months on now, and always out in the weather, R32 is garaged)
