That front bumper comes off a Jetta TDI Cup race car. It's also called the MKV Thunder Bunny Front Bumper.
Apparently it is available through dealers overseas. This shop also has it:

Can that be bought new as a part from VW America? I remember seeing some tuning company demos running them (1552v2 had one I think).

Looks like it works better on darker colours, more subtle. Either way you look at it, it's DAMN AGGRESSIVE!!!

- Needs more window tinting to complete the look.
- Can you modify to fit headlight washers for the xenons?
- BMX bike on the roof rack needs tassles on the handlebars

More detailed look at the fitment, which looks perfect, look at the tight fit lines!

Build the car for you, sod everyone else! I reckon it looks great, aggressive without being garish. Weirdly I'm not a fan of the GTI mesh grille on the Mk5, so anything that brings back the recognisable grille slats back onto a GTI is good for me.
I wonder if anyone in the US have attempted a badgeless front for it... would be super-clean I reckon.

A little cheaper - http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Golf_V--2.0T/Exterior/Body/ES250795/
Plus, ECS is a sponsor of VWW forums... if you're on there and serious about getting the bumper, you could probably find yourself getting a decent bargain with shipping too.
Vortex can also produce some goodies, though seller honesty can sometimes be questionable there - http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4466541. Also, stated in another thread (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4506141), 1stvwparts.com have them at wholesale price, but they don't advertise it on the website, have to call them up or email I guess?

So aggressive. I would love to whack one of these on a MKV Comfortline!

I really like this. If anyone really organising a group buy, I will be interested.
