Xenon light stopped autoleveling

Noticed my left side xenon stopped autolevelling last night. Driver side one ok. Lens seems to project down and stationary. Anyone had this prob?

Can't say i've had this problem. There is a xenon auto levelling module located next the cubby hole in the car. If you take the side trim piece of the dash (just pops out), you can see it.

But a VAG-COM diagnosis would be the way to go. But i'm guessing you're still under warranty? So back to the dealer? :)

If i was to hazard a guess, i would say the module is playing up or the motor in the light assembly has failed?

Vagcom showed no fault. So took the car to dodgeys and we pulled the headlight unit out and found a connecting wire was loose. Put it back in and presto xenon autolevelled.

Well issue is sorted now. Prob is sold it to a family member. Just bought vw extended used car warranty so should cover some of the important bits. Spat on and tore up the free CCC dealer extended warranty worth bugger all.

I'm sure it would have been sorted out at the dealers under warranty but maybe not the same day on a Sunday. Good you sorted it out first anyway to save the stuff around.

Sold the gti ben. Xenons worth it. Autolevelling not worth it unless you are carrying an elephant in the boot.
