K&N 57s Performance Air box and intake kit??

I am new member today.....Yeah!

Has any member installed the K&N 57s Performance Airbox and intake kit or any other pod air filter CAI kit into Gen VI Golf?

If so, have you felt the performance/ horsepower changes?

Does it change the engine note??
I have 118TSI and it would be cool to remove the diesel sound.

They're selling these on eBay - I'd be interested too - as they seem a fairly cheap way to gain some figures!

Firstly - welcome :-) Secondly, K&N are actually doing the whole 'cold intake' bit now on eBay.

I'd be keen to see whether that's a worthwhile kit as it seems a cheap way to do cold air.

Anyone got any experience with this?

Yeah!...after doing more research...K&N produce performance air box with cold intake kit...sounds pretty cool!

Ebay does stocks the full K&N kit.
K&N website for the 57s performance air box and kit says it will produce up to 7 horsepower from 4 cyclinder, which translates to approx 5Kw...pretty little gain!

I have installed k&n air filter! Worth the money! Extra 5kw! Plus created nicer engine note to 118TSI!
