An RNS510 if you want the oem one. Not sure on which seller, coming from China might not be such a good thing, surely someone who has purchased one can guide you to good seller..

I bought the RNS510 from eBay... it came from Lithuania.. from memory, it was around $750 shipped..
I got it installed and AUS maps installed for around $200...
The install was pricey, but his rationale was that he had the official VW Aus Maps... and that's what he charges people..
I won't mention names, but he works at a famous VW mechanic/shop...

Will the steering wheel controls work in with the RNS 510 eg Making and receiving phone calls etc? Thanks for your help so far.

Steering wheel controls will operate radio, Sat nav but you'll need to install an additional Bluetooth module to A:operate phone & B:to use steering wheel controls subject to bluetooth unit you install.
If you do a search on RNS installs I'm sure you'll find the necessary information.

Not sure if you got the RNS510 by now, but I decided to go for the Zenec NC-2010 for my R32...and it works beautifully, as well as managing to look very similar

Hey mate how much $$ did you want for the other unit you have ?
Also do they work with the MK5 steering controls?

    Cheers Lenny

    Hi all

New to the forum, am about to pick up a R32 hopefully this week and the one I'm getting doesn't have a sat nav and I just want to know if I have to get an OEM one or can I get an after market brand (pioneer, jvc etc)?

    Thanks
