    I ordered one of these after reading Lucas' post and didn't have the issue. Having said that, I would say if your going to be installing this yourself, a little grinding here and there will be the least of your issue.

    Is it a must to buy the 14 bolts and washers? Can't you use the same bolts and washers that your oem intercooler is using?

    Yes it is necessary - the stock screws are a coarse thread and screw into the plastic intercooler end tanks. They wont work on the new aluminium intercooler.

    Appreciate it Lucas, I'll go Bunnings tomorrow and just get the 14x M6 x 20mm bolts and matching washers.

    I wasn't sure which washers to get Lucas so I took a few pictures:





    Aswell I assume these are the correct bolts?



    Just wanna make sure I got everything right before I start.

    Either washer will be fine - they are identical except one is stainless steel and the other is just galvanised.
