    Dont know... i dont really rate them on the Mk6, they just look too crammed in there..
    Not saying its not a nice wheel but i dont know they just dont seem at home on that car in the picture. Just my opinion of course.

    When i saw them on AP's R32 they set it up a lot better! Mustve been the Black wheels on white car effect!

    Those HRE wheels on the mk6 reminds of an ed35 lowered. I actually don't mind it Pat but I can see your point of view.

    From an appearance stand point, 18" might not have the aggressive look. For from the weight savings and performance aspect, these R40 in 18" are under 19 lbs. Which is a huge weight savings from the OE wheels.

    My wife's MK5 GTI has OE 17", and you can feel the lighter weight wheels compared to the OE 18".

    You should be able to feel the improved acceleration with the R40's.

    P43S on MK6 GTI

    Thought I'd share some HRE P43S in Brush Tinted finish on a MK6 GTI. The P40S is about 1.5lbs lighter than the original P40 design.
