What's the plans for the car other than getting the wheels on? Springs/coilovers?
Thanks Tom I'll hit him up and see what he can do for me. I'm going to go coils for sure. Don't want to spend too much though. Know much about the FK AK coils? I know they are cheap but the reviews online look alright. Not planning on tracking my car either.

    Hey guys,

So been a while since I last posted but here we go...

Got the Rotiform IND's on and was not 100% happy with them. I had some rubbing which drove me crazy so decided 19's are too big for me. Managed to sell them off to a new home though so all good!

Please excuse all the shit in the back ground...

After the Rotiforms I got some MK6 Detroits. Happy with them for now.

Other than that its been maintenance stuff.

I wrapped my DSG surround in matte black because it was scratched to buggery...

I got myself a RCD510. Love it. Modernises the interior a massive amount IMO...

And my roof liner had collapsed so I got that sorted out by Redbull Roof Repairs. Colour isnt an exact match but its hard to notice unless you're in full sunlight. I kind of prefer it darker anyway. Only $350 and it took under an hour. Here is a photo of the colour difference...

Did you end up getting the paint sorted?

Good clean look on the Detroits. With the MkV getting to 10 years old it's nice to just see clean ones.

    Thanks Tom!

I ended up getting a mate to help out with his buffer and most of the holograms are gone. Still annoys me though so I'll be investing more later.

Bumpers colour matched by the guys at 4Mance in Artarmon. They did an awesome job. One of the best things to do for the MK5 in my opinion...

Had a play with my new camera today. I'm new to photography so these probably look like shit but here they are anyway...

Colour coded bumpers make the mk5 look so much better! Photos look good, not sure if it's a filter but the paint looks amazing.

I'm gonna be that guy and say "it needs more low" lol

Haha I know I know. Coils are next.

The paint in a mixture of a fresh wax and reducing the light in editing the photos.

    Thanks man!
