    What Movies/TV/Downloads are you watching?

So we have an ongoing thread for sharing music tastes...how about an ongoing discussion/recommendation on movies & good TV series...

I like to check out and lose myself in someone else's life/city/situation...a hysterical laugh...or breathtaking action & drama. A bit of a hobby of mine is finding out about all the trivia, filming locations, product deals and back stories behind movies I really like.

Currently, along with almost everyone else, I'm loving Homeland: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1796960/

I will also admit to having watched a cam download of Skyfall ahead of it's theater release here because I just couldn't wait...and I loved it. Everything about it! It doesn't stop from the get go despite Daniel Craig's vintage - and NO ONE wears a suit like he does. http://www.jamesbondlifestyle.com/bo...l-craig?page=1

As always with this franchise product placement is huge (VW Beetles even ) This film remains mainly in Britain and so all the fabulous usual suspects were well represented in Range Rover, Jaguar & a replica of Aston Martins DB5 http://www.nydailynews.com/entertain...icle-1.1200843

I like to refer to it as "borrowing from the internet"
to replicate the effect you'd have to push the pedal extremely fast to at least 50% throttle, and then fast, but not quite as fast as before to say 70-75%, and then a bit slower to say 85% - all in the time it takes me to push my pedal down 20-25% max

I justify it like this...when downloading TV...it's free to air stuff anyway...I just want it as soon as it airs OS and without the commercials. This justification applies to network shows The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, The Good Wife, The Mentalist etc...and ignores the ones I'm 'borrowing' from the cable channels.

With movies - if I've paid to see it in the cinema, then I'm allowed to get it as a DVD download. If it's good then I'll end up buying it on BluRay and if it's not, then it's their fault for making a bad movie.

    All good?

I luurve Game of Thrones. Went and read all the books. Series follows books almost to the word.

I follow a number of shows from US; in fact I don't watch local TV anymore.

My only peeve at the moment is that there are very few good scifi shows these days.
One of my favorites is ending this season - Fringe.
