Didnt end up getting my car scanned, still no idea on what the issues are.
Scan revealed no aircon faults. Trying to get into contact with service people today. When you turn the aircon on, you can clearly hear it starting up and the car fuel consumption raises as per usual, but no air. I assume this means the fan is busted.
I had a similar issue like you however the air is blowing correctly but its just not getting cool. My issue was because the booster valve was failing from the a/c unit and the air was not getting cool.
Just spoke with Rob at Volkstech and he's asked me to drop by tomorrow and they'll scan it then send it across to their Aircon guy next door or something like that. Really hoping it's not a blown compressor, can't foot a $1000 bill before Christmas.
The guys at VOLKSTECH reckon it's the resistor. When you turn on the aircon with the passenger side trim removed you can smell something that smells like burnt wires. I'll grab a new resistor from the stealership and get one of them to install.
