    Erratic Idle, any ideas?

When warm stopped at a set of lights, after a minute the idle climbs to ~1200rpm, like a cold start, then quickly drops to normal 800rpm and then climbs again.

Process repeats until I drive off.

Has done this since I had the stage 3 done.
Installer went over it and can't diagnose, nothing shows in VCDS.

    Vacuum hose somewhere maybe?

    Any ideas?

you have a vacuum leak of sorts
replace the front PCV - this may very well fix the issue.

    Problem solved.
Was a vacuum leak from this tube.

Just pulled the tube off and it has this rubber insert in the end that sits on a plastic nipple.

Just smeared a small dollop of Vasoline on the rubber insert, pushed tube back on and normal idle again :-D

This bit is causing me grief also.

With mine, the plastic bit in the engine slides back and forth and doesn't seem to sit tight.

With the engine idling, I squirted water on all the PCV hoses and connectors etc. When I got to that particular one, a distinct slurping sound could be heard.

Yours sounds like a trip back to the stealership. Or maybe get a high heat glue and fix the sucker in place.

Im also having a similar problem!
Rpms are fine but i can notice a slight hiccup when cold starting and after a good run it seems to idle rough in 2-3 second intervals.
Just went in for 75k service and nothing showed in VCDS
PCV was replaced but still having issues
    Any ideas???

Well I recently did a cold start. The car back-fired and I got the EPC light and went into limp mode.

Turns out the battery is stuffed... phew easy fix.

If you have a rough idle in 2-3 second intervals, sounds like you have a miss. I would clean or change spark plugs if they weren't in the service.
VCDS may not show a problem if the plugs are still sparking but it may be weak or have the wrong gap.
