Nice job Ben, it looks the biz. I like the idea of a bigger tank in the boot. Any extra noise in the cabin?

Oh yes, there was 1 stabbing of a stanley knife through ones arm which resulted in Max Golf R boosting to the hospital. No pain no gain i say.

Tuning will commence this week. I will not push it to far at the moment as im at 270awkw on stock rods.

Good to hear you got good gains mate. Any reason why you went MAF controlled? I guess it really depends on how much you are spraying before the throttle body and how close. What size nozzles etc. I believe it can cause the throttle body butterfly axle to corrode and possible seize or become sticky, also electrically i think from memory.

Your car wont explode though, so thats a plus.
Went MAF based on advice from snow and also from seeing Fab having success on a very similar setup to mine. They reckoned if not going BT then maf gave better results, no good for you though

I'll make sure to check the throttle body every now and then to make sure its not going to shit. Thanks for the info

Ben, did you get your tune altered to allow for the WMI, or just leave as is?

I only installed it on the weekend. The car runs the same as it did before. However, tonight or tomorrow i will be able to through a whole bunch of timing into it and thats what will make a huge difference.

    PS im only running water.
