Obviously haven't received the units yet to comment on that side of things, but so far so good in dealing with this supplier.

I ordered 3 units before there was mention of bulk discounts - I mentioned this to the supplier and he sent me through a refund for the discount amount pretty much straight away. Also happy with the speed of the order - according to the postal tracker they've already been shipped out and should be here early next week.

To give a rough idea of pricing for anyone else interested - for my purchase of 3 with express shipping they worked out to $195 USD each. Slower shipping was only going to save around $5 per unit.

They will work as usual and ok, maybe a bit of coding needed for those without climatronic

^ They look good - definitely a neater design than the climatronic in my MK6.

That would require a few changes to the dash, bezel's etc ... possibly even CANBUS constraints,

depends how keen you are for 8 inches I guess

So the 30 second installation summary is as follows:

    Unit is indeed plug-and-play.
Installation is super easy and requires only a small Torx driver. Took me no more than 5 minutes in total.
Fascia colour match is perfect in my Golf R.
Operation seems 90% right but the AC button light isn't illuminating on my unit (the RNS shows the AC status when you push the button though). More testing required tonight incase I left a wire unplugged or something needs recoding via VAGCOM.

All in all it's looking like a good upgrade.
