Cut your costs and at least go the head, Cihan. That's where the majority of the magic is anyway with the Integrated Engineering long block race engines.
Although not possible for everyone, but I think every Big Turbo upgrade Golf R should whack one on.
Highest flowing head on the market for the 2.0T FSI.

Here's a clip of one being made for a customer:

"The Integrated Engineering CNC Ported cylinder head provides large power gains from the middle of the power band all the way to redline. Large airflow increases are obtained by a combination of changing the port shape via CNC porting and re-cutting the valve seat geometry. We worked closely with an industry expert who has over 30 years of OEM and professional motorsport experience to deliver these results. Street drivability was preserved by careful development that does not sacrifice torque and airflow velocity.
the Integrated Engineering ported cylinder head increases flow up to 75 CFM or 34% on the intake side and 40 CFM or 25% on the exhaust side. This results in a flatter and longer powerband that will take your 2.0T FSI engine to another level whether on the street, drag strip, or road course."

Appreciative to the rest of the comments - thank you.

Lazarus, I'm still undecided between a couple and to be honest I have some time until the engine arrives, but it will without a doubt be a notch or two above the 3071. Whether that is one notch or two notches will be the question.

I think you should try something different like a PT5858. Parso might even agree with me here.

I found a kit in the US that will be a perfect match for your new engine. See pics attached. I'll send you the link via PM.

It includes a custom v band tube manifold, dump & wastegate pipe for only $1849US. Also includes a Lifetime Warranty to Original Owner.

All you need then is the turbo and external wastegate and they can be sourced through them or locally so you have local warranty.

    Pure porn..

I'm amazed there is a tubular manifold readily available for purchase now which you don't have to make a custom order for. That one is very nice!
Looks like it would take up quite a bit more room back there in our confined space compared to the regular manifolds so I'm wondering how restricted you are with turbo sizing back there (GTX30 or 35 with a 3 inch dump pipe probably cutting it fine?).

We should be seeing quite a few more options for the Mk6 Golf R turbo kits available throughout 2014.
Second hand Golf R's can be picked up for a great bargain now which is leaving owners with extra cash in their pockets to see straight to stage 3 and beyond now.

Nice build. Fair wack of cash gone into that I bet.

HTA, EFR or FP turbos are worth a look. I've not seen so many great results from GTX of late. A shame as I have one to fit myself.

They'll all be considered when the time comes. When it comes down to it, if it produces the 1/4 mile time and is reliable, then who cares what the brand is really.
I just quote the Garrett GT/GTX when I type as most here are able to relate to the performance/power figures of these on this forum more than a PTE or EFR turbo when making a post.
