I'm not running a sub. 2 reasons, firstly I need my boot and secondly these are fantastic speakers with great low end. They give a true audiophile quality sound. I took my car into my local home HIFI dealer and gave their 2 channel expert a listen. He was blown

away by the quality of the sound.

The cost was $3400 inc. installation. The installation takes a whole day with 2 guys working on the car. The downside to the Golf's being so well built is that they are a prick to pull apart! Make sure you're there when they are tuning the crossovers so you can

have the sound just how you like it, it's a nightmare getting in there once it's all put together!

Just spoke to my dealership and VGA they have both said this is not available to the Australian market. If ordered from overseas do you think it still would work with the Australian mk7 golfs??

I have a custom setup in my car, similar to that of golfy laroo, and I've lost my wheel space, but I think it's well worth it. I was quoted a custom install where I wouldn't lose my boot space, however, it was around $1500 for just a sub in the wheel well. It all depends what you want out of your system. If you just want to add some more depth to your system, just add a sub. If you want to go the next level, upgrade the door speakers and you won't need to necessarily need a sub

Spoke to my dealer and this is now an option for most models of VW. I'll post some picks of information I got today. However they will only bring it to Aus if they get enough interest...
