At x 8.5 ET45 my measurements on the Mk6 showed the wheel to be poking outside the bodywork - on stock suspension this will probably result in rub on a big enough dip/bump; and definitely some front fender screw rub at a minimum. Usually the lowering will end up with a camber adjustment to tuck the wheels in and that's when some issues can be avoided/minimised - but hopefully some suspension gurus can chip in here and advise further as I am somewhat of a novice in that regard.

OK, I am by no means advocating crimes against good taste by chucking orange wheels on to a white car, so I've toned it down in picture two. These wheels are fitted to some Passat CCs locally, but also appear on European Scirrocos as well. OEMs crop up now and then but reps will be easier and come from numerous sources, and numerous finishes. Even found a set on EBay UK fitted with Falken tyres for $1,250 (excluding shipping and any import costs).

    LAMBORGHINI CALLISTO

Nothing like a set of exotic wheels on a Golf. Using genuine wheels won't be cheap, although surprisingly seems to be quite a few odd lots floating around on eBay so tracking down four genuine fronts may be possible, although would require some major work to fit. Also available as reps in more favourable fitments.

    I did check it out.
    Looks awesome.
Why you ask about the 19" Is there anything wrong you reckon.
I'm choosing 19" simply because the bigger the wheel the better it looks for me. Of course something bigger than 20" it'll looks a bit ridiculous.

I have to look deeper into this when i have money lol. tyres are too exxy for me atm, but i think 235 maybe 240 are deffs on the list. im not a fan of low profiles or the stretched look.

    KRAFTBERG 'VOSSEN VVSCV3' REPS
    Specs: 19 x 8.5 (f) 19 x 9.5 (r), ET45, weight tbc
    Details: H&R coil overs fitted

Gold on red hmm. Don't know anything about these actual wheels, but the original Vossens look beautiful and come in silver, matte graphite and machined matte black. The 19 x 8.5s do come in ET45 so could be made to fit with a little work and minus that rear end poke! I did a quick calculation and the Vossens would land here with duties/taxes for around $3,300.

Note: not a legal fitment in Australia

Another factory option on the Golf which is similar to the Motorsport but has a different spoke design and is finished off in anthracite.

Why would you do that to a performance pack?

    From 19's to 18's?
