    Alcon Big Brake Kit- Mono 4 - MK5/6 Golf R & Gti

Tarmac Engineering has access to some of the most popular SPM products including this great Alcon 355x28 Mono 4 Big Brake Kit. This kit bolts straight on to your MK5/Mk6 Golf. We currently have one of these in stock and ready to ship to your door for $2,999. Yes free shipping! These have unbelievable stopping power and are substantially lighter than the OEM setup.

Steve Petty Motorsports (SPM) and Alcon Components ltd. (Alcon) have joined forces to introduce the ultimate line of direct replacement Big Brake Kits for VW MK5/6 chassis, featuring the Alcon S-groove rotor design previously only seen in race applications. SPM Big Brake Kits will make use of the same Alcon Racing Heritage trusted in F1, World Rally Championship, NASCAR, Grand-Am, LMS and Japanese GT racing. The Alcon brand is world-renowned for providing ultimate braking performance solutions both on and off the track.

SPM chose to use the Alcon monobloc 4-piston caliper for their superior strength and weight characteristics with a piston stagger of 38.1mm and 41.3mm in diameter. The rotors we use are exclusive to SPM in our applications, and we chose a 355x28mm disc and designed a full floating assembly using NAS hardware and bellville spring washers and bobbin drive for the MK5/6 kits. These rotors feature Alcon's new S-groove slot pattern and feature enhanced cooling with the large 14mm air gap and internal vein architecture. Ferodo DS Performance pads are included and provide excellent behavior for daily driving. We work with Goodridge to specify SPM/Alcon specific G-Stop stainless steel brake lines. Our hats and brackets are CNC machined 6061 Aluminum for a strong, lightweight assembly and anodized black for aesthetics and corrosion resitance. We include Motul high performance brake fluid to complete our kit.

As CWR said, no they wont. Apparently someone has done it but i dont know how. Maybe the factory changed the offset on the OEM wheels or something but i didnt have any luck with them fitting OEM wheels. The OEM wheels are heavy anyway, these with light weight wheels FTW

They only just hit, so 3mm but 5mm would be best. Will look better with the wider stance too.
