Great collection. My fav, the black Mustang. Is it a 350?

Needs a bit of 'instant' start spray (also note the heat marks on the reverse of the open hood from the exhaust headers)

BMW M1 - never seen one of these in the flesh before. this was the Bowden's car - had a good chat to the team about it - it's heading over to Europe to compete in its category over there - on the track nothing sounded better in its class - straight 6 was so throaty, unfortunately it was out-powered by the likes of the Porsche 962's etc - but a spectacle to see none the less. I saw in unique Cars (this month) that one was just purchased for a decent sum in complete written off condition, to be refurbished - a very low volume production vehicle!

A lot of eye candy indeed - no notable track videos - tried to soak in the day when they were buzzing around hence the minimal track shots - nothing worse then missing a great overtaking manoeuvre because I'm trying to distinguish camera from video Did get a video of the old F1's racing - though the sound just doesn't do it justice. The early 911's were a hairy balance of throttle on the fast turn 1 at the Creek - those that have been on it know that turn 1 is virtually flat out, slight lift off throttle then straight back on before mid-way into the turn - a 911 hates off throttle at the best of times (unsettles that rear end to no end) so it was a very talented play of throttle application and late braking to remain competitive with the rest of the field. Great to watch (and hear)!

Not sure what was in the Mustang - however it was in the 3.0L ish class (those first 4 911's on the grid in the same race as the Mustang were 2.7's and 3.0 Litre cars so I'm guessing the Mustang would been a small block variant...
