Hey Fellas,
I just installed a RNS 510 in my 2010 polo 77tsi and need a hex-can-usb vag-com cable to integrate my steering wheel controls and optical parking sensors for the unit. If anyone has a cable in sydney - liverpool area and is willing to loan the cable and/or help me program the system it will be much appreciated. Im willing to pay some money but what the dealer was asking was kind of ridiculous.

You can it from dubaddiction.com.au. Basically you can code everything like turning off your Daytime Running Lights, or making your windows roll up automatically when it rains. Just need to know how to use the program...which is where I failed!

Yep lots of good things that you can change. To be honest the less "features" your golf has enabled as standard the more valuable this cable is. Almost everything is already turned on in the Golf R so just little changes here and there for me.

Any chance of you giving me a hand with your VAGCOM? Had the car serviced yesterday and thought it would be a great idea to get them to change the colour scheme of the RCD510 via VAGCOM. I am now unable to switch between CDs. I can come to you when you are free. Thank you.

Are the VW cables the same as an Audi S3 cable?

If they are is there anyone in Sydney who wants to help me unlock the Nav CD from the Nav unit, see if the sunroof can be linked to the auto open/close option when holding the lock/unlock bottons on the key, and change the stereo from Bose to standard?
