Good progress so far Ramspeed Team. I like how pictures of the DSG, plates and flywheel exposed to see how great the DSG engineering is by VW.

Yes, it's incredible to see the inside of the open DSG gearbox. The precision with which the gears and other mechanical and electronic components work (at high speed and high pressure) is bewildering. As we know, the twin clutch DSG is a development of the sequential manual transmission and is essentially a fully automated manual transmission with a computer-controlled clutch (controlled largely via MechaTronic unit inside the VW DSG gearbox). With the upgraded clutches, software and lightened flywheel, this R32 will delivery lightening gear changes, typically lazy on a standard DSG (you only have to drive Jason's car to realize the massive difference the sport clutch packs and updated software makes on this unit)

Yes, this is why we like to say at RamSpeed, "German engineered or made for German cars".

Those are terrifying pics for all the right reasons!
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this comes together - what is the timeline?
The brake dimensions alone could slow the rotation of the earth.

Hi Tinto. The project end depends on few factors which we are yet to finalize. The MechatTonic and clutch cage left our shop today, I believe. We have updated the build thread which you can check out HERE

I'm a big fan of detail and have a library of pictures of just about every nut and bolt on a MkV Golf and an improvement opportunities (including ABT design improvements) . Here the latest update where we cleaned the intake ports (see the rest of the thread above) as well as a custom brake sensors (Brembo upgrade we did on JIG's car where we fitted a twin (outer and inner side) brake pad sensors (VW Touareg part) which fitted nicely with the Brembo pads. Typically I see these sensors (factory fitted on R32) removed or at best installed on one side. We figured that if the feature was an OEM requirement, there is no reason why by upgrading brakes one should lose this early warning signal device. The finish is pretty much factory-like, no aftermarket feel about cut/deleted wires or untidy wiring looms.

Flicker doesn't display here?..So here is the link HERE

If you're not a tuner ramspeed then what are you? do you just sell products for ABT and others and fit them? Do you check and test your product on dyno/track/closed circuit course?

Fair enough. I thought it was pretty clear over here:

Got lost in the passive aggressive verbal diarrhea. Thanks for pointing out the relevant section.
