Just wanting to see if anyone has recommendations of good mechanics for my gti. Have to take it in for service and not sure of any good mechanics in the area.

Have a quick search mate- there's a lot of info on the forum already.

VW Village Kensington are good for a quick oil change, filters and standard logbook service, for bigger issues they're not that helpful in my experience.

The same can be said for a lot of other VW specific workshops especially the newer ones that's popping up all over the place.
