Hello People!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We have just returned from holidays this week and are excited for a big year ahead.

After some interest from our existing clientele and new enquiries we have received over the last few months I am please to say that we have commissioned Sebro to manufacture us a run of Mk V slotted brake discs to suit GTI and R32. We have just received the first lot of R32 front slotted discs in stock.

Sebro is a small German manufacturer and one of only a few OE manufacturers for Porsche and BMW so I can assure you these discs are of the utmost quality.

Anything for the R32 rear?

I have them on order but as these are special runs they are doing for me I have to wait till the next stock scheduled production run to tag my special order on the end of that. So as such I only have the R32 fronts on the shelf at the moment.

I should have the rest of my order mid-Feb.

1. Are the R32 rotors direct replacements?

2. Do you have any info in terms of how it will change the braking characteristics of the car...i.e. would we also need to replace the rears to get better performance?

In answer to your questions:

1) Yes, these are direct replacement rotors for the R32, GTI & Jetta 2.0TFSI no modifications to fit these discs.

2) For a road car the benefits are not going to be huge in all honesty, you will probably notice better initial bite on hard applications as the extra leading edges of the slotting will help in that regards. Mainly people ask for them either for the different "look" on a road car or for the brake fade performance benefits that slotting gives you on the race track without the disadvantage that comes from cross-drilled rotors getting the hairline cracks around the drilling.

Also what pads work best with these rotors?

We have had great success with the Hawk HPS pads as a great street based performance pad that is probably better than the OEM in most aspects.
