WIP: MY06 KO4 MKV GTI Build Log

It's been a pretty busy few months. I upgraded my rear bumper to a R32 rear with 4" tips. Turned out pretty good and very happy with the exhaust welds. Next will be a carbon fibre diffuser.

Coilovers have settled in and she is sitting very nicely. Scrubbing for days while driving tho.

Rolled my front and rear guards.

Current engine bay looking stock and clean.

New GTI badge for extra power

Got my 0-100 time down to 4.4

I'm selling a 3" muffler delete to any mk5 owner who is interested in a bit more noise in the rear.

Installed and wired some modded quad ring Valeo tail lights. Still yet to do the VCDS coding. But the tails now look awesome.

Tails, rear bar and exhaust look sensational! Where did you source the parts if you don't mind me asking?

Wouldn,t place too much faith in the P3 gauge 0-100 kph time. Every car I have seen who uses then seems to post times unheard of, by as much as 0.3-0.5 of a second.

    Purchased some Evo X 18" Forged BBS 18x8.5 +38 5x114.3.

Did a test fit on the GTI but need some adjustment to my coilovers before fitment.

Wheels look fantastic. You running wobble bolts or adaptors? If adaptors, is the offset gonna be a bit crazy?

How much are you looking for the muffler delete?

Looking good- those specs look perfect. Wasn't a fan of the rs4 wheels as everything else on the car including the r32 rear looks awesome.

    Any pics from further back?
