Emotive stuff - I was anticipating a wall of sound.

Brave spectators too. (doesn't seem like the right word )

    Simply insane stuff.
    Thanks for sharing Justin.

    Those guys have balls!
They spend more time with the car in the air than on the ground...haha!

There is a reason why these things had such a short lifespan...
    So many people were killed.

I know this has been posted before.. but i think its highly appropriate to post it again

I love this era of Motorsport. At around the same time these Group B monsters were tearing up the forests F1 drivers were fighting with their 1500bhp missiles, at LeMans the Mulsane straight was still a flat out 2ish mile run where the Porsche 956/962's were hitting 230+mph and in touring cars they were running 500+bhp Sierra Cossies with RWD. There was no traction control, no abs, manual gearboxes & very little safety. Proper Motorsport when you had to have total commitment to get the most out of the cars and death was a very real hazard.
All of my favourite cars & drivers are from this era.

Mint - one of the reasons why I allways wanted a Lancia Delta - but got a mk 2 golf Rallye instead !

That's insane, I can't believe the spectators, I would imagine that was thrill enough.
