HELP: Gearbox oil for Golf GTI MK6

    Hi guys,

Newbie here for golf MK6 GTI, did a search and couldn't find anything maybe I'm not that good on looking on existing threads. Maybe a sticky

Anyways planning to service my car and change gearbox oil (MANUAL) can you recommend a gearbox oil to use for mk6 golf gti? not after a ready hefty price tag as it's just an oil, but i'm after a basic full syntethic oil that will do the job and common for gti owners here in the forums.

I was looking at sparebox.com and found few gearbox oil but unsure which one to use.

    list
    NULON
    PENRITE

MOTUL - Very expensive!! don't want this lol.

Need to also know how many litres does GTI uses, and does diff oil need to be changed as well when changing gearbox oil?

    Please help.

    Thanks in advance

    Nick

Try the lubricant selector on the various oil manufacturer websites. The Penrite one led me straight to the answer your're looking for.
