    MK64HH - The BT build!

    Hey guys!

Finally decided to post and document the task im about to undertake with my Black R. After about 6 months of research and planning things are finally starting to move ahead but first ill give you a bit of a background on the car.
Ive owned her for about a year and a half and bought her with a full stage 2+
    Mods:
    -SPM Downpipe
    -Xforce Catback
    -SPM Intercooler
    -Autotech HPFP
    -RS4 Rail valve
-Spulen turbo charge and throttle piping
    -Volant intake
    -Tarmac Agressive spectune
    -Porsche Cayenne 6 pot calipers
    -Merc 352mm rotors
    -Hawk pads
    -Dot 5.1 brake fluid
    -Braided front brake lines
    -Flow designs front splitter

Since ive owned her the mod list has changed and expanded a little further
    Mods:
    -Flow design side skirts
    -Vossen VPS305T wheels
-Stage 2 AEM WMI kit (dual nozzle)
    -CTS throttle plate

    -Southbend stage 3 clutch kit
    -Defi boost guage
    -Injen CAI
    -Turbosmart Dual port BOV

After the tune was done and a few things sorted out, i loved the car! It just drove so well and the power delivery was amazing but like any car enthusiast eventually the power bug started to bite and never being one to do things by halves i started doing quite a bit of research and decided that i was gonna go all out and build the motor! This wont only serve as fun for myself but also double as a bit of shameless self promotion! So here is the mod list!
    Mods:
    Head:
    -Supertech Intake valves (STD size)
-Supertech Inconel Exhaust Valves (STD size)
    -Supertech Valve springs
    -Supertech Valve locks
    -Supertech Titanium retainers
    -STD camshafts
    Block:
-JE pistons (STD size)(Tuff skirt and Thermal barrier coatings)
    -IE Drop in rods
    -ACL Race big end bearings
    -ACL Race conrod bearings
-IE ARP Extreme full engine fastener kit
    Fueling:
    -Revlimit Injectors with P&P harness
    -TTRS Drop in fuel pump
    -PM3 controller
    -165 Bar rail valve
    Bolt ons:
    -Dynodrome custom exhaust manifold
    -Garrett GTX3076r Gen 2 turbo
    -Turbosmart 45mm EWG
    -Turbosmart OPR T40
-STD intake manfiold with runner flap delete
    -Plex PBC
-iABED oil cooler plate with custom oil cooler & lines

The first batch of parts are on order and needless to say im impossibly excited to start this build!!!

Impressive list mate! You have the recipe to make a seriously quick car right there in that list! Getting it all to work without any issues is going to be a challenge, as they can be a PITA at times if one thing is slightly off...

It will be interesting to see how fitment goes with the manifold... Please make a screamer pipe!

    any pics of the car?

Scotty the manifold should be sweet, i had a choice of 48mm piping or 42mm piping and i opted for the smaller sizing as the head, atleast valve size wise, will be standard bar some porting and polishing.

In regards to the screamer i will definitely be going screamer!!!! That is a no brainer HAHAHAHAHAHA

I do have some pic and ill post them ASAP

    Quick update guys!!

So for the past few weeks the car has had a reasonably major boost leak and this morning i finally got around the checking it.

After setting it up on the smoke machine at work i found that the intercooler has split where the end tank meets the core and thus i need a new intercooler so i guess thats just one more part to add to the build list!

Anyone have any recommendations on intercooler for a BT build other than APR! I was thinking CTS as ive had quite a bit of good experience with these in the past!

P.s I also found that the PCV is leaking so ill definitely be replacing that with a brand new VW item
