^Lol :-) Thanks Luke, Thanks Guile,
my new shifter is awesome, I love the feel and certainty as it engages on the upshift, bit more tricky on the downshift, just need to spend more time behind the wheel.

Moving on now to the next phase..
AWD conversion, I've found a donor Tiguan with some useful parts and working on/researching a standalone Haldex controller solution.
This Haldex Controller from the Netherlands looks promising:

Will be sometime before this all happens and I will be sorry to see a lot of the awesome custom 4" exhaust and downpipe having to be redesigned or even if it will be possible without reducing the exhaust in size..

    Good luck mate.

A 4wd conversion will be a massive challenge, however well worth it.

The haldex controller looks like a good piece of kit.

Hadn't intended this mod but the weakest link so far in this build finally surfaced - 4th gear let go..

Those syncros look bulletproof. You should look at SQS Racing 02Q Fork brass sliders and Darkside Developments Gearbox 4th Gear Input Shaft Support while your rebuilding.
I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Thanks Alan, D.Side are awesome to deal with, they supplied the 4th gear support kit earlier in the build, I'm sure 4th would have let go a lot sooner without it. Will checkout the SQS brass sliders. Cheers Dorian
