With a best 60ft of 1.75 on a slower pass it can go faster!
Ah that's awesome mate! I'm APR stage 2+ 98 file at the moment and can't fault it at all.

190,000 still havent done timing chain yet, 2+ tune , drive it like i stole it, loves going offroad for rally fun, has been airboune, probably going to break something soon, but so far hasn't missed a beat... except for the cracking stock rims..

probably drinks around 500ml over 5,000-10,000km, and dsg oil gets done every 30,000ish

Had my MK6 R now for 18 Months, just about to click over 80,000kms and the only issue I have had has been to do with the carbon canister!

I change oil every 7500km, service it on schedule and care for it well. Havent even ever had to top it up with oil and the car has ran APR Stage 1 for the past 40,000kms. Could not be happier!

120K and the car’s still a tank. A very, very fast tank.

Apart from the DSG cooler cracking and mixing coolant into the DSG fluid mine is still going strong at 120,000km. Has started to miss on full throttle recently so I think time to replace plugs and coils but given the current plugs went in at about 20,000km and aren't platinums and the coils have never been changed I think it's doing well.

I have owened my 2010 MK6 R since 2015 and put 65,000kms on it since then. Total 115,500kms as of today. Only thing was the Vaccum pump seal failed after i picked it up from the dealer - full replacement via warranty. Other than that got a Spectune stage 1 on there for 50,000kms and the car is running great! I drive 60-70kms every day for work and its awesome. I service the car every 5,000 - 7,500kms with Pentrite 502/505 5w-40 and its never missed a beat. Started back on Nulon Euro 504/507 5w30 last change and it is running better than ever. I think ill stick to the Nulon moving forward.
I have changed the cam follower about 25,000kms ago (will probably check it next service).
I changed DSG oil at 90,000kms with Penrtie DSG oil - runs great.
I also changed front and back diff oils (front diff was a real bitch to get to!!)
Did have the major service done recently with timing belt, thermostat, waterpump changed. The original thermostat was actually stuck open so perfect time for a change.

The car does now have the slightest of misfires when cold (at idle and very light throttle). I Am thinking along the lines of carbon build up on valves but not 100%. Still running stock coils with BKRE7 plus @ 1.0mm.

I haven't had any issues with my gti besides the main seal which was fixed under warranty at about 80k. I just replaced the front hub bearings and intake manifold yesterday to fix the common intake error code though. And did a decarb on the valves while it was all open. Still going great now at over 150k but it's time to sell.

170,000km stage 2+ for about 100k. rear diff seals are starting to go. no biggie, get them done next service. turbo seals have started to show signs of failure. Not bad for nearly 200k though. no other real issues other then an extra litre of oil after about 10,000kms. serviced every 15000 as the book says. not treated with any special care. Its my daily and I treat it as such. full of dog hair and everything. gets a good flogging coming home on night shift. LOL
