Mk7 R, res delete or valves coded open

    Hey guys

Recently upgraded from a mk6 R to a mk7 R and Iíve noticed that the exhaust is much quieter than the mk6.
Iíve read heaps of posts regarding drone and noise and there is a general consensus that the res delete increases drone but also dsg pops etc.

Since my car is a daily freeway/highway driver im just wanting to know if the res delete has an unbearably loud drone or whether it is easily tolerable/mild.

If coding the flaps to remain open a better way to minimise drone whilst making the exhaust a bit louder?

    Cheers.

    I did both,

Res delete is not that bad when it comes to droning. I eventually did the cat back which i much prefer.

Get a cat back. I did the res delete and open valves but cat back is much better. I have Invidia cat back its quiet when cruising but when you give it some it sounds amazing.
