Even though I live in NSW my two favourite restaurants are Smolt in Hobart and Stillwater in Launceston. My partner and I have even flown down for 24hrs just to have lunch at Stillwater. Love the atmosphere, the setting and the food. Smolt is one of Tetsuyas favourite restaurants. I highly recommend both.

We are really choosy as we only eat organic or ethically sourced meat (if anyone can recommend ANY Asian restaurants in Sydney that do I'd really appreciate the heads up).

Love the value at Mylan in the Gong (bit of an institution in the town) for Asian/Vietnamese

Spice I Am in Sydney (and its sister 'House') for the more authentic northern Thai. Good fish options.

    THREAD REVIVAL!!!!

    Question to the sydney folk.
    Im having trouble deciding.
The Boathouse on Blackwattle bay OR The Flying Fish.

I will eventually try whatever comes second just need to decide which one to go to first, as I am treating someone to a night out.

    Cheers!

The Garden 2 Plate concept represents a mutual respect for sustainable living practices and localism, offering a refreshingly alternative food experience that is unique to our locality.

Growing lots of our own ingredients at nearby Green Gate farm, our rustic little kitchen provides authentic cooking, gardening and dining experiences that celebrate fresh, organic produce.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Bouddi peninsula’s extensive national parklands and beaches, the G2P cafe serves wholesome nutritious dishes and ready-to-heat take home meals for people on the go.

Our cafe hosts regular themed gardening and cooking classes, native bush tucker workshops, cheese and wine appreciation nights, live music and art events over looking the water.

Hardy’s Bay is just an hour and a half’s drive from central Sydney and twenty minutes by boat/ferry from Palm Beach.

If you don't have a vision, don't start, if you do something, do it properly, if you're not 100% happy, do it again!
