All isn’t lost Varex mufflers can be purchased individually and a good welder or exhaust shop can easily custom fit one onto you existing exhaust system.

Varex universal muffler ranges from the traditional oval muffler shape to the popular cannon style and even a dual tip just for good measure. Inlet size starts from as little as 2.5 inch perfect for 16v 4cly all the way up to 4 inch for the big v8 , turbo charged and serious 4x4 cars.

So with the sound control am I right in assuming that if you have it at full volume or the softest volume that it makes no difference to power output? Example If you're tuned and you have a tbe and you have it on soft does that mean the muffler is more restricted or again no difference at all?

when the valve is closed you will loose some power .. exhaust gases and noise is redirected through a 2nd more muffled route but will still flow more then a stock oem unit .
