Folks, as I wrote in my DIY guide to installing LED globes... Always remember P for polarity, the LED globes have a positive and negative pin. The standard incandescent globes installed by VW don't have positive or negative, so it doesn't matter how you install them.

The LED globes have diodes in them so they don't blow up if you install them the wrong way. However the overloading that occurs finds the weakest link 'the fuse' and well you know the rest.

If when you first install an LED globe it doesn't work, remove it immediately so you don't overload the circuit and try it the other way around. Following these simple tips will protect your car

    Understand all that.
But I actually saw the LED light up then slowly flicker and then die in the ass haha.
That's how I know it doesn't work anymore, but it's oly one, no biggie.

Same. Worked fine for a month then for a couple weeks whenever it was open it would flicker once then go out. Then one day it just stopped working and I stopped caring.
