Below is a thread from last year where an Opti-Coat user attempted to correct some clear coat failure. The surface is machine polished and Opti-Coat is hand applied (better results would have been achieved by airbrush obviously).
15 months later, the results are quite interesting.

Here is an update for this Opti-Coat review on failing clear coat. This review is also now at the two year mark.

Now, obviously not every car with clear failure can be saved. It's not uncommon to see the clear peeling off in sheets which is well beyond saving. But in this case, we can display how Opti-Coat will protect even the worst factory paintwork after 2 years.
