I was there just before f1 GP last year. The guy said it was there busiest time. They no doubt just change the route.

I'll have a crack at pulling my video apart on imovie...
to replicate the effect you'd have to push the pedal extremely fast to at least 50% throttle, and then fast, but not quite as fast as before to say 70-75%, and then a bit slower to say 85% - all in the time it takes me to push my pedal down 20-25% max

I did 15, but it went for 30 mins. Go figure...

    Thanks guys.
Its hard not to grin when you hear that sound haha!

The down blip got me everytime.
Its almost childish the amount of fun I had driving it. Its not something I'll likely forget anytime soon either.

I have driven that very same Lambo. You can rent it for a 15 minute drive for $220 from Ultimate Drive in the Marina Bay Sands hotel. I must warn you though, these cars are 'heavily' detuned so that the muppets don't kill themselves. They sound great but don't really go that hard. I have driven a 'real' Lambo and they go like stink.
They also have a F430 which I've driven also. Again detuned but fun all the same.

I thought that might have been the case.
Went pretty well, but it didn't blow me away. Still bloody fun to drive!

Ramspeed, yeah the engine light was on haha.
Was on before I started driving

Yeah Cam, I got the guy to admit to me that they were detuned. Told him that I had driven a Lambo before and that I could tell, but didn't mind because I understand they get some really bad drivers thinking they are F1 drivers.
FYI - If you ever want to drive a Gallardo that isn't detuned... there is a mob in Melbourne. $395 for an hour or $900 for 3 hours. Totally awesome.
