Sorry about all the acronyms!

Just putting out the feelers to see how many people are interested in getting a HPA DSG tune done. The HPA agents in Oz, City Performance Centre in Sydney, are willing to come over to do it if we can commit to 15 cars or more.

Stage 2 will cost $1195 and Stage 3 $2,295.

They can also do an ECU tune if you're interested for $1,395.

At this stage, they were looking at sometime in early October to come over, but the other problem is finding a workshop for them to work in and possibly set up a dealership arrangement with. Quattro are APR aligned, Mark's Workshop is GIAC aligned so the only alternative I can think of is Golfwagen. Anybody got any other suggestions?

Anyway, I'm not sure whether all VAG models apart from the Golfs can be tuned, but I'm sure this can be clarified.

I've used All Star Garage & LF Performance for most of my automotive modifications. They may find interest in it. I think if the COMMITTED interest is there, it can be taken a step further.

Not that it matters for the DSG tune, but do they do much VAG work Jme? They've got an AWD dyno right?

Honestly, I rather fly someone else to do DSG tune for a cheaper price. At least he is willing to travel if we have 4 or 5 people with DSG.

By all means, any and all options I think are worth mentioning, as long as its a civil discussion, the end users are to benefit.

Inlimbo, they don't do VAG work but are competent. We aren't exactly spoilt for choice. Im sure Brendon @ Ktec may be keen, but no dyno facilities. However Im 'assuming' most <stage2+ upgrades are generally a flash and go affair????

DSG tunes are flash and go but I was thinking a before and after dyno would be handy for anyone wanting the ECU flash.

As you said, choices are few and far between. There are no Revo dealers in Perth and the only other DSG flash I could find on offer around here is the GIAC version, which costs $900 and you have to go to York to get it done. I've spoken to people who have had both the GIAC and HPA tunes done to their Golfs and the HPA version wins IIRC.
