There is a company that restores dashes. it is called "The dashboard doctor" .They are commonly used to restore muscle car dashes and conversions from lhd to rhd . www.dashboarddoctor.com.au
Un-cracked replacement dashes are hard to come by. Seeing as it is a very common problem and there are only around 250 MK2's in the country they're not exactly common. As above it'll be easier to get yours repaired.
Other option would be to get one from England or possibly Japan but postage won't be cheap.
Thanks guys, dashboard doctor quoted me $850 - $900. Fiesta here in the goldfields charges $350+gst. Once I get my dash fixed here, I will post the outcome, good or bad. Thanks all, to all a wonderful christmas and a happy new year!
Probably too late now mate, but i would of thought you could get one shipped from the UK for less than £350.
They sell for about £20 - £40 here (approx 40 - 80 dollars?)
Cant see shipping being more than £100
