I really need to consider a wagon, the overhang is a bit crazy. Big fun though, a Christmas present to me. And YES, I put a big red flag on the back....

I drove a full size wagon for several years for exactly that reason Greg - utes with a frame are pretty good too.

Eventually I found somewhere right on the water to store it so I could start owner smaller, more interesting cars again.
If you're gonna be a bear - be a Grizzly!

How long before the Ozflyte has a 150Hp outboard bolted to the back of it...
to replicate the effect you'd have to push the pedal extremely fast to at least 50% throttle, and then fast, but not quite as fast as before to say 70-75%, and then a bit slower to say 85% - all in the time it takes me to push my pedal down 20-25% max

I have already tinkered with it, tweaked the skuppers and rudder, but the problem seems to be the pathetic arms paddling it, need to whip them back into shape!

What REALLY astounds me is people who still want to tailgate, with their bonnet under the friggen ski!!

Taken it in the sea/surf yet?

    Coolangatta Gold next year perhaps?

You don't get an appreciation for how fast they are untill you have one scoot past you in the water....

Yeah a Skoda wagon is looking good right now, but to be honest I've always had small cars with stupid surf craft since my late teens, so I am the master of the overhang, and only one ticket in 20 years ( flag fell off ). It sure sits well on the Golf, so unlikely to change, but yeah, if I can convince everyone in the country to buy a Viezu tune, a flash waterfront property is the go!

Want to do Anaconda series this year, but we will see, Carformance comes first! Just bought myself my first MTB for the same reason too, got in so much trouble from the missus.....but sneakily threw a macbook pro on the Visa for her for Christmas, so problem solved : )

I actually raced SLSC Ironman pretty seriously back in 89-93 with the gold in mind, but that was a long time and a bijillion beers ago.....
