Finally got around to installing my new set - perfect instructions!! Although, I didn't actually end up taking out the base supports and bolt them to the retrofit housing. Your instructions for removing the bumper saved me so much trouble and time otherwise I would have had no idea where to start off! Screw inventory check is highly recommended also

    M4rco,

I posted a thread in a Multivan forum about replacement Bi-Xenons for that van and one person commented in Australia when you fit Xenons, you have to have a washer system. (Australian design rules requires washers for the Bi-Xenons - there is no reference to the washer assembly on the "Materialschein", so I would imagine there are further costs involved, his quote.). Not knowing what comes with "normal" halogens on GTI/GTDs, did you have to install washers or did they have them already. I noticed your bumper had the little socket things where my bumper has the washers.

    Hi Paul,

Yes you are correct is "desired" to install the washers, what I got told that is more important to have projectors with HID systems, you can get pulled over by the police about this, the washers they won't be able to tell,

I'm planing in the future to install the washers, right now, my bumper only has the holes as you could noticed,

    Cheers!

    Hey M4rco,

Sneeky thanks for the reply. My mate has decided to give up on the Multivan Bi-Xenons. Too expensive and too much trouble.
