    206.5 kw at the Wheels

    I was really pleased with the result I got yesterday at Mainline. It explains why the car feels so good! I was expecting around the 190 mark given its only a stage 1 tune with the following mods;

    Stage 1 HPA tune
    Milltek TBE
    VWR intake
    Forge TwinCooler
    BSH throttle pipe
    Neuspeed discharge pipe

    It's a great baseline for the rest of my mods to come...

    A few updates this week HPFP and rail valve now installed with new tune. So far so good, car feels strong and pulls hard all the way to redline. Quite a difference in the power delivery.

    I will post pre and post dyno data next week once the car has adapted a bit more to the new tune.

    Also installed the Forge catch can. Nice bit of kit.

    It is the position they suggest for cars like ours which has a charcoal cannister. My last catch can from BSH I had to re locate the charcoal cannister under the guard. Essentially you replace the windscheen washer plastic throat with that new piece on the bottom picture and put the catch can in the position of the OEM one.

    I like the braided lines and the billeted aluminium pieces.

    Catch can looks good Kevin - and pipes are neater than the 42DD one that i have.

    An Audi R8 (or similar aftermarket) oil cap would do nicely in place of the stocker too.

    ^ Naked or TTS engine cover.

    Also, do you mind letting me know the cost of the HPA flash? you got good figures for stage 1 and your mods. And do you mind posting your dyno readout? if not, perrhaps you can PM it to me if you are happy to share it with me but dont want to publically show it?
