Exhaust has really settled in well though and i'm loving the sound of the Supersprint. Has also received a few thumbs up from passers by!

Shit weather meant tending to small things - installed LED bulbs for the number plate lights, an LED bulb for the Reverse light and LED's to replace the yellow tinge bulb which is stock on the R32's city/side/driving/parking lights depending on what you wish to call them. This is a subtle but nice improvement, and matches the rest of the light cluster now for colour.

All lights were purchased from Bold Sport. I received NO error codes for any of them (I did them individually and checked each time for purposes of isolation if they were to arise) and all bulbs fired (I know others have had trouble with the city/parking light bulbs in the past, requiring resistors etc) Nothing needed with these - definitely would recommend.

Also picked up some nice VW logod valve caps. Waiting for them to be stolen.

Also gave the engine bay a quick clean and coated the plastics with 303 Aerospace.

As per usual, the car gave me a few more kw in appreciation
I can tell you are loving the SS! you just can't wait to rev that engine!

I've sent you an email with the video, is a little crappy, but we can always do another,

The car looks mint man!, seriously,

    Congrats!

Still no pics though realised there's some worthwhile comments to be made on previous posts.

Adam, the Bold Sport globes have not burnt out yet. Have not had an error light come on since they were installed and now close to 6 months down the track they haven't faulted me once.

Keen to hear what your thoughts are after it's run in in terms of drone. I don't mind a bit of loudness.
Can't believe the Supersprint has been fitted on the car since May. How time flies. It has definitely settled down - obviously I've prob also grown to get used to the sound though I would hardly call it drone. I regularly sit passenger to a VT Senator and BF XR8 both with cat-back exhausts - these are properly droney! The SS doesn't drone at idle and is barely noticeable even at that 100km/hr or so mark. The rasp at around 2500 rpm plus is still as addicitve as the day I drove it back and comments have always been positive. I regularly drive alongside Paul (Dub) who has the same SS installed, we both agree there are very slight differences in the sound.

The only true comparison I can give for the Capristo is hearing it on 2 Supercharged R32's which changes the sound completely. Ray's does sound amazing on the non FI car though I've only heard it from a distance. The Capristo mated with the SC is something else. It turns into a real 'bark' on acceleration, reminded me of that kind of F430 pitch - Capristo is also less noticeable at idle and throughout the entire rev range until the foot is planted. This I believe is based on the valve-tronic set to the medium setting.... - In "Open" guise I would imagine it would be completely different again.

They are completely different systems as is the Miltek and all provide a unique tone to the R32 note in their own given way. I definitely wouldn't criticise any for having true 'drone' pull up next to any Japanese turbocharged car with a canon sticking out the back...that is true drone.
