Gopro 2

Hey all, its not quite photography but you guys might be able to help.

Got a gopro hero 2 last week and want to use it tomorrow for the cruise to marysville.

If anyone has any experience with these, would they be able to tell me what the best resolution is to use for the right width and height as it will be sitting in the middle of my dash.

Aaron: All resolution modes in the Gopro 2 do 170" wide angle. The default I use is 960-30 fps. The lower you go the smaller the screen resolution. Check your manual for more information.

My manual says it has the option of 127 as well. It also said some resolutions are better if you want a wider shot compared to a vertical shot?

I set mine to 1080 -30 as well so just wondering if its worth going back to the default 960 - 30

Isnt it ful hd at 127 and 720p at 170 defrees? That was rather the case in go pro 1 so i dont know its any different. I always go for the wider angle aince it has more dynamic and whats the point of go pros if its not fish eye like LOL
