    Looks very nice and only 90,000k's Just make sure all the servicing have been done, especially the timing chain.

    $12,000 is a lot to spend on a MK3 but if you can afford it, why not.

    I thought timing chains were maintenance free?

    There is a maroon vr6 for sale with 84000km for $8,900 at the moment

    Timing chains are meant to last the "life of the engine".
    Unfortunately on a VR6 they seem to limit the engines life to around 200 - 230,000kms unless you replace the guides.

    If its only got a 100k they will still be fine though. 12k is top dollar but being a colour concept it is a pretty desirable model seemingly in quite nice condition. Pays to advertise high and chase a buyer that really wants that particular car.
