    VR6 Shudder

    Hi,
just wondering if anybody knows why my 97 VR6 is shuddering (and sometime it sounds like it is skipping revs [da da da then goes]) during acceleration from low revs when in a higher gear (eg. it normally pulls from 40km/h in 5th @ 900rpm-ish no problem) but lately doing the same even at 50-60 in 5th its temperamental.

Bad fuel maybe? It is normally run on Shell or BP 95/98 and has had a fuel filter replacement about 1 year ago.
It has also had a MSD coilpack and new Ignition Control Module put in it.
    Cheers.

Mine used to very very very rarely do this every now and then, I haven't seen it happen for a good 12 months now. My first reaction was coilpack and then I never got it to mess up again for the diagnosis...
No longer rockin the VR-Sex. Onto bigger and better.

My vr6 did this due to a worn engine mount.. which later snapped while driving!
