    Kw Clubsports Golf r32

    Hey guys,

This is a question for the boys running Kw Clubbies. What was the best price you could source locally? Best prices I could get overseas were between $2,800-$3,000 inclusive of tax landed. Has anyone gotten a similiar deal locally? Would be happy to be pointed to any local business that could do it for that price.

    Cheers,

    Dan

Locally they are about 3500 from memory. Worth the extra money in case something goes wrong.

You'd be surprised how small the price diff between overseas and local is for coilovers, or at least I was when I was looking.

    I went local.

I don't think you can get import prices locally here anymore for the clubsports. Mine was around 2800 when I bought them locally some years back but it ain't no more.

KW's 2 year unlimited Km warranty is something worth paying the little extra that it costs you when you do buy them locally. You wont get that if you get them from OS.

The problem is what do you do after 2 years? In Australia it costs $800+ for a replacement KW damper whereas with a bilstein unit you can take it out to quadrant and get it rebuilt quite cheaply.

Buying locally is a joke. I was quoted $5,500 to supply and fit Pss9's to my R32 by Manta Racing who claim to be the SA Bilstein supplier. They didnt even have a listing for pss10's!

Dan, u what ubuyin clubbies for......unless u are going to enter into targa tassy or race in production car, you don't need them!!!! KW V3 are plentiful!!!!! Even as a weekend warrior. The only people who buys clubbies are rich little kids who wants the best to show that they got more money than sense, you race or u need extra camber to tuck 10" rims.......

Mmmm. I'm not a rich kid, but I have at times purchased crap that didn't justify the spending haha.

I don't race at the moment, but you never know what could change in the next few years and I'd much prefer already having something there then having to upgrade.
