42 Draft Designs Golf R Dump pipe released!!

Thanks to Lucas _R, it seems the 42DD Golf R dump is now available, Lucas found the announcment on Vortex today. I knew it was close, but am still awaiting my official email from 42DD!! This pic is the race ( catless ) version obviously, which I don't recommend on a tiny gain vs legality ratio....but you get the idea.




42 are offering FREE ceramic coat on all orders till May 20, I have yet to confirm this with them, but I don't see any reason I couldn't pass that offer on, as it seems 42 are absorbing the cost there.

The best news is the pipes cost the EXACT same as the MKV/VI FSI GTI dumps, and this price is ongoing:

Non resonated, stock adaptor, Street series ( with cat ) $680 delivered.
Resonated, stock adaptor, Street series $745 delivered.
Ceramic coat normally $140, most likely free till 20th May!!

Will have the product page up tonight, but I expect fabrication times to blow out a bit at first, so first in best dressed!!

200 cel magnaflow cat. You need an O2 sensor spacer or a tune that can write out the CEL light it will throw.

Sorry no Brendan, this is a special from 42DD just on the new R dump. I do the coating at my cost though, even lower than my RRP pricelist, so it's zero profit for me, I just think it is that important.

You can always get it done locally, as it is currently adding 1-2 weeks to delivery for the coating at Jet Hot in the USA.

Not just yet, but that shipment with your can is due to leave 42 any day, so I expect to have it mid next week. The shipment before just showed up today, and it was ordered a week prior. I am onto them don't worry!!!

And no people, I still don't have O2 spacers as yet........expected to go with Andrews Can set above!!

Hi Greg,

I have a Viezu Motorsport tune for my R so will a re-tune incorporating the DP alleviate the need for an O2 spacer? I assume this will work well with a tune?

Any idea on sound difference?
