Thanks guys. Took a long time to finally get it to here, mostly waiting on parts but very happy with the outcome
Was out driving to work today and even before I had washed it I was getting heaps of people staring at it haha.

    Thanks
Yeah 1968 RS Camaro, old man loves his classics.
He has 2 1968 RS's one driving and one about to be restored and currently having a 1957 Chevrolet Belair Coupe being restored as well
His a bit of a car nut too :P

Installed the Dieselgeek short shifter today after work as well, must say shifting is so much easier and faster

    Haha thanks mate
I found them through yahoo Japan and they were the only set on at the time I was looking.
Very hard to find, but can be done. Just give it some time.
If you do find them through yahoo contact Streeter as there is no-one else cheaper to bring in rims

    Not much of an update,
however I've been speaking to Nik Brewer from Uber-stealth and will be having a side mound stealth 8" sub box made up for the car; takes 30days to make and plus postage will be quite sometime before I will be receiving it :P
But in any case I'm prepping for the install, already have a JBL GT0804 8" speaker that a mate gave me out of his Soarer he was wrecking.
Purchased this wiring kit so i don't have to cut/join into my factory loom for the head unit

and will be purchasing this amp to power it
    http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...?itemid=120464
its tiny, as you can see in the pic

So once its all done it should be quite a neat install. Nik also mentions that the carpet he uses is an exact match to the VW's factory boot carpet, which with me being a perfectionist I'm really happy about that
