Good, more torque early.... but less peak than before? Probably too close to call given variations in dyno's etc.
Seat of the pants feel?
^ good result (both times) and pretty consistent too. Considering the dyno dynamics tend to read a little lower than Mainline, you probably have a bit more power with the updated Bluefin stage 2 tune. Nice smooth power and torque curves too.
Your AFR's are much better than my personal experience with Bluefin as well as others i have seen. Most dip down into 10:1.

to replicate the effect you'd have to push the pedal extremely fast to at least 50% throttle, and then fast, but not quite as fast as before to say 70-75%, and then a bit slower to say 85% - all in the time it takes me to push my pedal down 20-25% max
somehow the Bluefin tune has been pretty good for my GTI, smooth curves and drive ability is similar to stock ;-)
butt dyno, although not mechanically accurate, says more power and torque than before ;p
i was expecting higher number, but as Lucas said, dyno dynamics probably reads lower kw than mainline.
still happy with 163kw but I get the itch for more power and a new Sirocco R at times..
^ that 160-170kw mark seems to be about the limit of the KO3 turbo. Several GTI's at the Sydney dyno day were making those numbers.
My MkV gti was pulling 161kw atw and I just found out that the timing belt was out by one tooth. Should be interesting when I get it back with the new hpfp, rail valve and new tune!!!!
A Bluefin Stage3 file Versus my own R1 stock hardware tune file (note that I won't call it a stage 1 or 2 or anything else). This is about as low as you'll see on a mainline so its a good comparo. Ours seems to read a couple of kw in 200 lower than any other around running the more recent software and I'd rather it be this way than the other way round.
No AFRs plotted as I'd killed the sensor and was not popular but I have logs of the runs available and will be reusing this file for more work in the near future
This is from the most recent Audi VW dyno day at Revesby with an almost finished R2 tune, Note the 7kph/sec ramp rate used on the day, this is very cruel at it really holds the car on full power much longer than what most other places would use. Runs were down in both 3rd and 4th gear with the differences being negligable ~2kws or something silly. I'm still yet to sort our that little boost related squiggle up above 200

nothing amazing
Gained a few more kilowatts with stage2+ but loss 10nM of torque?? NFI why. Revo techies looking into it right now.
All my runs have been in 5th gear not 4th. Not sure why but thats how BWA do it.

Dyno plot to come as I'm having issues uploading it.
Viezu tune and Apr intake.
186.7kw
367.2 nm.
Happy with that. Plots been double checked by Viezu. Any updates needed will be done.
So I decided to dyno the car at my good old friend's workshop @ IS Motorsport in Rockdale who has been tuning most of my Jap cars over the years.
Blue line is 3rd gear 197kw
Red line is 4th gear 190kw
I also dyno'd the car last friday @ port hacking and it made a very very very poor number (on par with stock), when I asked for more data it was not supplied to me and felt like the operator was trying to sell me one of his tunes (I am a huge fan of Parso and the numbers he pulls). The op had the car on the dyno for a while as he could not get a good run. Was disappointing overall.

Hi John,
I heard yesterday and guessed it was you who came down for a run last week while I was away, sorry I couldn't have been there. I wish you had have let me know beforehand though so at least I could have given you some options. Ben wasn't aware of how to dyno the car properly with the DSG shifting on the dyno hence the stuffing around and I've since bought him up to speed with things. From the very brief look I had at things yesterday plots in succession overlay each other so the runs are legit (not bogied up) and they seem valid but I'll have another look next tuesday when I'm next there if you like.
The figure did seem unusually low, even worse than what I would expect with that level of tune (our basic level 1 tune is ~180atw or more now) so in the remote chance something was not done correctly I am happy to re dyno your car at some stage - tuesday if you like with full logging too. He wouldn't have been trying to sell you something but he is aware of what power we normally see so he's probably just a bit cocky in that regard. I do the tuning on them in any event and perhaps to our disadvantage we aren't salesmen ..we don't work that way have to sleep at night etc.
If the power figures were real (and as with anyones car I won't post it up here as it's your business) I'd be revisiting the tune provider first and getting them to have a shot at fixing it.
btw stock is usually 155~160 atw on our one, its particularly cruel
