Interesting that you both feel this way as the general view of the Skyline community in SA is the opposite.
In fact the Dyno Dynamics readings are sometimes referred to as 'Disney Dyno' figures as they are always inflated.
This may be because the Mainline dyno that was being used was virtually new (less than 12 months old) compared to the Dyno Dynamic ones which were >6 years old (although I couldn't give you an actual figure).

It ain't the drugs he speaks the truth, the thing is with the dyno dynamics depending on the software version the results vary wildly. The two DDs in the shire are a great deal higher than ours for example yet you have others like Autotechs and BPS up in brisvegas that are similar or perhaps lower than ours.
With the mainline providing you run the cars the same way the results are usually very close

Beg to differ. Saw it on three Subies (mine) and my R.

DD read lower irrespective across more than 14 runs.

Sure, that is limited experience to experts like you but all on my cars and that is my personal experience. I don't put much faith in "forum chatter"

Clearly, they (dynos) are all over the place

    No surprise there.

Edit - I was actually joking about the drugs comment but maybe it has some truth

The BPS dyno seems to be low on KW but quite generous with NM.

As you guys know, a dyno is only really good for tuning purposes only. Arguing the fact which dyno is more accurate than the other is a waste of time. Just go back to the same dyno for your own cars consistency and piece of mind.

I completely agree. It was interesting to note the difference of opinion regarding the higher reading of power between the two types of dynos when going through the thread and thought I'd ask the question.

At the Skylines Australia South Australia (SAU-SA) Dyno Day earlier this year held at Willall Racing, all the cars ran lower power figures on the newer Mainline dyno than they had run previously on the Willall Dyno Dynamics dynamometer.
